Terms of Use

Last updated: February 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Accord platform ("Platform"), operated by Litigo Limited (company number 16053612), trading as GoLitigo and Accord, registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using Accord, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. What Accord Is

Accord is an AI-powered technology platform that provides tools to assist families going through separation, divorce, and related proceedings in England and Wales. We built Accord because we know how overwhelming and stressful family law matters can be, and we believe everyone deserves access to clear, organised tools to help them through it.

The Platform includes tools for Form E financial statements, C100 child arrangements applications, financial remedy proceedings, divorce applications, and related court forms and workflows.

3. What Accord Is Not

4. We Strongly Recommend Professional Support

5. AI-Generated Content

Accord uses artificial intelligence to assist with document preparation and provide guidance. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
  • AI cannot replace the judgement of a qualified family law solicitor
  • You are responsible for verifying all information, calculations, and legal references before filing documents with the court
  • Family law matters are inherently complex and fact-sensitive — AI tools cannot account for every nuance of your circumstances
  • Court outcomes depend on many factors beyond document quality, including judicial discretion

6. In-App Assistance (Gio)

Accord includes an AI assistant called Gio that can answer general questions about family law processes, court procedures, and how to use the Platform. Gio provides general legal information only — not legal advice. Gio's responses should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice from a qualified solicitor.

7. GLEAN Professional Review

The GoLitigo Expert Adviser Network (GLEAN) connects users with independent qualified solicitors and legal professionals for document review. Through GLEAN, you can have your Accord-generated documents reviewed by a qualified professional on a pay-per-document basis or other terms agreed directly with the reviewer.

GLEAN reviewers are independent professionals — Litigo Limited does not supervise, control, or take responsibility for the advice they provide. Any engagement with a GLEAN reviewer creates a separate professional relationship governed by their own terms of engagement. Fees for GLEAN reviews are agreed between you and the reviewer and are separate from the Accord platform.

8. Your Responsibilities

When using Accord, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information — particularly in financial disclosure documents where you have a duty of full and frank disclosure to the court
  • Review all generated documents carefully before filing
  • Meet all court deadlines — while Accord provides reminders, you are solely responsible for compliance
  • Seek professional legal advice for complex matters or where significant assets are at stake
  • Not use the Platform to mislead the court, produce fraudulent documents, or breach your duty of disclosure

9. Pricing

Accord is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, per-document charges, subscription plans, or other pricing at any time. If we do so, we will give you reasonable notice and any charges will be clearly displayed before you incur them. No existing documents or data you have already created will be held behind a paywall.

Any future paid features will be governed by a refund policy which will be published at that time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Litigo Limited shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated documents, guidance, or information provided by the Platform or by Gio
  • Unfavourable court outcomes, including financial orders, costs orders, or adverse findings
  • Errors in calculations, including property valuations, pension sharing calculations, or income projections
  • Missed deadlines, even where the Platform provided reminders
  • Decisions made without seeking professional legal advice, mediation, or counselling
  • Any indirect, consequential, or special losses
  • Any loss of data, interruption of service, or unavailability of the Platform

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Account and Data

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Given the sensitive nature of family law information, we strongly recommend using a strong, unique password and not sharing access to your account. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the Platform settings.

12. Intellectual Property

The Platform, its design, code, and AI models are the intellectual property of Litigo Limited. Documents generated for you using the Platform are yours to use, edit, file, and share as needed for your legal proceedings.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not use Accord to produce fraudulent court documents, mislead the court, breach your duty of full and frank disclosure, or for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in such activity and may report suspected criminal activity to the relevant authorities.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, including to introduce pricing or new features. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
